  • A man with gray hair and a woman with long, wavy red hair are working together at a desk, looking at papers and a yellow object, with large windows in the background.

    Let's get started...

Our priority is to support you throughout the entire process and ensure we fully understand your requirements and objectives. We work closely with you to understand the product, brand, challenges, and expectations, providing guidance and expertise from the initial concept through to development and production. We’d love to build a strong partnership with you, providing reliable support and expertise at every stage of the project.

  • An open notebook on a wooden desk with handwritten notes, two black pens, an eraser, and a black cable. The notes include words like "listening," "questions," and "understanding." Large white text says, "Inquisitive minds create ideas" with a smaller handwritten note saying "Listening to the details."

    Let’s talk about your project

Every successful packaging project begins with a comprehensive brief. We take the time to understand your brand, product, target audience, commercial objectives, and retail environment. By aligning creative ambition with business goals from the outset, we establish a clear strategic foundation that guides every stage of the design and production process.

  • Open sketchbook showing drawings and labels of different carton packaging sketches, including gable top, pillow pack, pour top, hang tab carton, straight tuck, tuck end, mailer box, and carry handle box.

    Concepts in to design

Our design process transforms strategic thinking into compelling creative direction. We explore materials, structures, finishes, and visual language to create packaging that not only reflects your brand identity but also delivers an exceptional customer experience. Every detail is considered to ensure the design is both beautiful and commercially effective.

We develop innovative packaging concepts that differentiate your product in a competitive marketplace. Multiple creative directions are explored, allowing ideas to evolve through collaboration before refining the strongest solution. Our concepts balance originality, functionality, and brand storytelling to create memorable consumer experiences.

  • Illustration of three globes featuring sustainability symbols: a wind turbine, recycling arrows, and a lightbulb, emphasizing environmental awareness.

    Taking care of the environment

Sustainability is integrated into every project. We evaluate material choices, manufacturing methods, recyclability, transportation efficiency, and environmental impact to ensure your packaging meets modern sustainability expectations without compromising on quality or premium presentation.

  • A collection of skincare or cosmetic boxes with detailed patterns, a glass bottle with a rounded cap, and a white sheet of paper with instructions on how to use a spritz light cap bottle.

    3D modelling and rendering

Before production begins, we create highly realistic 3D visualisations that bring your packaging to life. These digital renders allow you to review structure, proportions, materials, finishes, and branding from every angle, providing confidence in the design before investing in physical prototypes.

  • Scale models of furniture pieces including a black metal bed frame and various cardboard cutouts of other furniture on a paper with sketched outlines of furniture.

    Testing, testing 1, 2, 3

Physical prototypes allow you to experience the packaging exactly as your customers will. We produce accurate samples to validate structural performance, functionality, aesthetics, and user experience, enabling refinements before full-scale manufacturing begins. We have a dedicated cutting bed studio that will produce your prototype packaging. This will be in the exact material specification as the final solution so you can fully evaluate the design.

  • A stack of wooden sheets with cutout shapes, dental trays, and layered paper patterns on a light gray background.

    Nearly time for production

Precision is essential in packaging production. Our technical team carefully develops and verifies every die-line, ensuring all structural dimensions, folds, cut lines, bleed areas, and production specifications are fully approved before artwork is finalised. This meticulous process minimises production risk and guarantees manufacturing accuracy.

  • Close-up of a high-tech industrial machine with a digital display showing 'HEIDELBERG Speedmaster' and other technical details, against a cloudy sky background. The machine has metallic surfaces and control panels, indicating advanced manufacturing equipment.

    UK manufacturing at it’s finest

Working with our in-house production team, we oversee every aspect of manufacturing to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship. Our print, finishing, die-cutting and gluing happens all under one roof onsite here at Windles Packaging. Rigorous quality control throughout the process guarantees consistency, precision, and a premium finish that reflects the quality of your brand.

  • Three colorful boxes with graphic and print designs are displayed on a white surface.

    Graphic, print & finishing design

Once the structure is approved, our graphic designers can help develop artwork that communicates your brand with clarity and sophistication. From typography and colour palettes to imagery, finishes, and print-ready artwork, every element is carefully crafted to maximise shelf presence while maintaining technical accuracy for production.

We have a wealth of experience working with and designing for a large range of finishes - hot and cold foil, emboss/deboss, varnishes & coatings, neon and Pantone inks
